Our Story
A new theatre company is taking flight in Central Victoria.
The Ravens Theatre Company was created to bring ambitious, professional productions of classic and contemporary works to audiences in Castlemaine and the wider region.
Our vision is to build a regionally significant company that creates meaningful opportunities for local artists while giving regional audiences greater access to high-quality theatre and the classic texts. We believe geography should not determine access to exceptional artistic experiences.
For many people in Central Victoria, travelling to Melbourne to see professional theatre is difficult or simply out of reach. We are passionate about changing that - creating bold, accessible and artistically rigorous productions close to home.
